Updating with templates

Only the footer and navigation areas of these pages are templated (meaning they're locked when viewing pages within Dreamweaver normally).

Example: When the year 2015 rolls around, the dates at the footer of each of these 144 pages will need to be changed from 2014. 
Using the five templates will update 139 pages quickly. The other five, listed below, will have to be done individually. 
This applies to any changes to the navigation too. 

The only other reason to use a templates would be when making a new page.

“template_catalog_children.dwt”  -  updates1 page (random header image rotator)

“template_clips.dwt”  -  updates 1 page (unique page layout)

These pages have unique layouts and  will probably never need to be duplicated but site wide changes 
to the footer and navigation  areas then will have to be done to these pages individually.
